Serving our community
As a warm, welcoming community nestled in the historic Meetinghouse Hill section of Guilford, we are part of the greater community of Guilford and beyond. We support many of our charitable and social groups and we have committed our church as a sanctuary for both humans and non-humans alike.
Chapel on the Green
Trinity Church’s “Chapel on the Green” is a spiritual home for the most vulnerable people in the city of New Haven – those who grapple with hunger, homelessness, addiction, and mental health. St. Johns’s will once again host in May 2023.
Helping Those in Need
GFB, IRIS, CCA and More
We take a weekly collection of goods for the Guilford Food Bank, and hold annual fundraisers for groups like IRIS, Guilford Social Services, and Christian Community Action.
Bluegrass Festival
Annual Bluegrass Festival
Our annual Bluegrass Festival is a highlight in August. This year, our fourth, will held on Saturday August 27th.
Pollinator Garden
We have recently added two bee hives with an adjacent pollinator garden to welcome butterflies and pollinating insects.
