I will be co-leading one of the classes this year through the Commission on Ministry.

Trivia Night

Join us for Trivia Night on Saturday, April 1 at 6:00 pm. This is an event for all ages. We are asking $10 per person or $25 per family. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

Lenten Book Study

During Lent we are reading Robert Hirschfeld's "Without Shame or Fear." We are meeting every Tuesday at noon at the church and reading one chapter a week. Please join us for any or all sessions and bring a brown bag lunch. "Without Shame or Fear" can be purchased online. Please let me know if you need help with this!

Invitation to Quiet Reflection in Lent

During our first book study conversation we talked about the need for confession in our lives. To live into this we will be taking a longer time to reflect in silence before the confession, which comes at the beginning of the service during Lent. I encourage to take a few moments to reflect on those things that are burdening you and intentionally lay them on the altar so that Jesus can help you carry them.

Men's Breakfast

The Men's Breakfast, originally scheduled for Saturday, March 18, has been rescheduled due to weather concerns. Please plan to meet at The Shoreline Diner at 8:00 am on March 25.

Learn to Preach!

Have you ever felt a call to preach? Have you ever wondered what goes into creating and preaching? For the months of April and May we will hold a course teaching the basics of preaching. If you are interested please let me know!

Camp Washington

I will be serving as a chaplain for Children's Camp at Camp Washington July 2-7. Children's Camp is for kids ages 7-12. They will be having open houses on April 5 and May 21 at 3:00. If you would like to go and visit, I would be happy to go up with you! Scholarships are available through the camp.

The Executive Director of Camp Washington will be visiting St. John's on May 21 to talk with us about the many opportunities for children and adults through the camp.
